Observe your progress from taking suggestions that have worked for other users

Chronicle is a concept for a cloud-based platform and smartphone app integrating with real-time environmental, biometric and self-reported data. The system compares a user's current situation with the data and outcomes of other users who have been in similar situations. This comparison creates the opportunity for users to gain meaningful insights to make better decisions about their chronic conditions in common, day-to-day scenarios. The concept focused on a use-case of people who struggle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Using the Chronicle app, the user can:

  1. Observe quantifiable progress based on app suggestions to improve the condition. The app creates suggestions to improve the user's condition based on what seems to have worked for other users based on location, environment and health status. Using these suggestions could help improve chronic conditions by reducing symptoms.

  2. Review health and condition history. This is useful for looking spotting trends as well as reviewing collected data with a doctor.

  3. Track biometrics in real-time to more closely understand what more intense exercise is doing to the user's body. This is useful for users who want to get more active to improve symptoms, but would also like to safely do so.
